Performing Arts Organizations FAQ

Got Questions? We’ve got Answers…

Planning Picture Day

How do I book our Studio/Group/Organization?

Contact us by either calling us or using the contact form here on our website. We are located in Hobe Sound, and serve Florida’s Treasure Coast and Gold Coast.

What ages do you photograph?

We photograph performing art groups of all ages. Three year olds through collegiate aged young adults.

Is there a minimum number of participants needed?

For an on-location photo shoot, we would prefer at least 20 individuals being photographed. If you don’t have that many, please contact us so we can figure out a way to accommodate your group!

Does it cost the organization anything?

Nope! There is no cost to the studio or organization. In fact, we offer complimentary gifts for leader/coaches/sponsors depending on the need.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are licensed in the beautiful state of Florida, and insured through the Professional Photographers of America.

During Picture Day

Do you offer sibling/buddies/parent coach with child shots?

We sure do! Just let us know at the shoot, and we’ll be happy to take that picture for you.

When and where do the portrait sessions take place?

We try to schedule the most convenient time and place. That is usually at your location before, or at the first part of practice or before a performance. Sometimes it works great at a pre-season camp, too. We aim to maximize participation and minimize the number of times we need to set up and tear down for a shoot.

How long does each individual’s portrait session take?

Each individual photos and poses take approximately one minute. Each participant in the group is given a unique printed QR code identifier card when they arrive, the photographer will ask to see/photograph that when it’s their turn, then several poses are photographed. Once everyone is photographed, we shoot buddy shots, then the full group shots. After the photo shoot, the participants give their card to their parents. The parents use the card to register for the photo gallery of their child. That’s it! The parents will receive notification as soon as the finishing touches are done to the photos and their gallery is ready.

How many poses does each person get?

This one really depends on a few factors such at time, age, and a few things we discuss beforehand, like composite or traditional team shots. It is usually between 3-5. In the personalized gallery, parents get to choose between those poses for their orders.

After Picture Day

How do parents place orders?

Back in the day, we used to distribute paper order forms that each parent brought back filled out and had to pre-purchase their order. Those days are gone. Now, each parent gets a private gallery with their child’s own photos, along with many print/download packages and items to consider purchasing. The ordering and checkout process is done at the parent’s leisure. The best part is that the fulfillment is direct-to-parent (or purchaser). No more distribution of orders from the organization (we know you’re busy)!

How long does it take for orders to be fullfilled?

Print orders are shipped directly to the purchasers address, usually within one week of ordering. Digital downloads are processed and available within a few hours of purchase.

What type of payments are accepted?

Online orders can be paid with all major credit cards. We can also arrange for payment via Venmo, Apple Cash, Cash, or Check.

Can families place additional orders, or late orders?

Sure, just have them contact us!
